Job Summary:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will serve as the critical technical bridge between our Global R&D teams and our most strategic key accounts. You will drive the adoption of next-generation OLED materials by deeply embedding with customer R&D teams, optimizing advanced device architectures, and troubleshooting complex in manufacturing processes. This role requires robust technical acumen in display technologies, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Account Technical Excellence: Provide robust technical support to key accounts. Partner with customer R&D teams to design, evaluate and optimize advanced OLED device architectures and optimize process settings, ensuring maximum material performance.
Joint Development & Mass Production Scale-Up: Collaborate deeply with customer R&D teams, translate customer specifications into technical solution packages, and design rigorous experimental plans (DoE) for joint evaluation of new-generation materials. Monitor validation pipelines and resolve technical bottlenecks during the transition from lab-scale R&D to mass production scale-up.
Cross-Functional & HQ Alignment: Work closely with Global HQ R&D and product management teams to ensure the company's new product pipeline perfectly aligns with the customer's long-term technology roadmap.
Process optimization (VTE and IJP): Lead engineering efforts to optimize both Vacuum Thermal Evaporation (VTE) and Inkjet Printing (IJP) processes, continuous focus on maximizing device efficiency, extending operational lifetime, and driving up manufacturing yield.
Quality Assurance (QA)& Troubleshooting: Lead root-cause investigations for on-site QA and reliability issues, provide rapid troubleshooting and actionable technical feedback.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline (Master's/PhD preferred).
3+ years of hands-on experience in OLED device physics, material evaluation, or OLED display manufacturing processes.
Technical Expertise
OLED Device Mastery: High proficiency in OLED device physics, advanced device architecture, and display manufacturing processes.
VTE & Fab Operations: A solid, practical background in Vacuum Thermal Evaporation (VTE) systems and standard AMOLED Fab EVEN production processes.
Inkjet Printing (IJP) Expertise: Familiarity with IJP technology, printed OLED material evaluation, or specialized process optimization for printed displays.
Soft Skills & Core Competencies
Good communication and teamwork skills, with proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Strong proficiency in spoken Chinese, with a high level of fluency in Mandarin
Based in Shenzhen, with the agility and willingness to undertake frequent business travel to support critical projects and key customer needs.
Cross-Functional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, presentation skills.
