Job Summary:
The Process Engineer will lead the development and optimization of inkjet printing (IJP) processes and OLED device fabrication to support next-generation display technologies. This role focuses on ink formulation, material screening, thin-film characterization, and device validation, enabling rapid evaluation of proprietary emitter materials and accelerating customer adoption toward mass production.
This position also supports OLED device fabrication using Vacuum Thermal Evaporation (VTE) and related performance evaluation. The ideal candidate should combine strong experimental expertise with analytical problem-solving skills and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ink Formulation & Inkjet Printing Process Development
Develop and optimize ink formulations for inkjet printing of OLED materials
Evaluate emitter solubility across solvent systems and screen material compatibility
Perform thin-film characterization and assess impact on device performance
Conduct in-house evaluation and pre-qualification of proprietary emitter materials
Identify high-performance emitter candidates from internal material inventory
Deliver pre-screened materials to support customer OLED stack development
Accelerate customer development cycles through efficient material and process readiness
OLED Device Fabrication & Characterization
Fabricate OLED devices using VTE processes
Perform electrical and optical characterization of devices and thin films
Analyze experimental data and provide clear, actionable insights
Develop and refine experimental procedures and testing protocols
Ensure high-quality, reproducible results through rigorous process control
Cross-functional Collaboration & Innovation
Collaborate with internal R&D, materials, and application teams to drive technical progress
Support customer-facing programs by providing material and process readiness insights
Stay current with developments in OLED technologies and advanced display manufacturing
Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, methodologies, and lab capabilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
1–3 years of relevant cleanroom or lab experience preferred
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas, inkjet printing, solution processing, OLED materials and device fabrication, thin-film characterization techniques (e.g., AFM, UV-Vis, Photoluminescence)
Familiarity with OLED fabrication and testing techniques, experience with VTE, sputtering, PECVD is a plus
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Good communication and teamwork skills, with proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary R&D environment
Willingness to work flexible or irregular hours when required
