Job Summary:
The Packaging Lab Technician supports the Company’s Material Business and is responsible for order fulfillment, ensuring that all customer orders are completed on time and error free.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete activities associated with the Order Generation and Fulfillment (OGF) process, consisting of receipt, storage, selection, dispensing, packaging and shipment of UDCs specialty chemicals.
Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure integrity of the OGF process to meet customer expectations.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and work with colleagues to resolve.
Immediately escalate issues that have the potential to negatively impact the customer or the process.
Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and organization to eliminate error.
Fulfill any other customer or internal requests including supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
Effectively communicate and work with the global UDC team across multiple regions to ensure customer satisfaction, delivering on time, in full with high quality.
Accurately maintain inventory records including all incoming and outgoing transactions in UDC’s electronic inventory system.
Perform any other reasonable job-related duties that may be required from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED at minimum; AA degree preferred.
2+ years of industrial experience in a laboratory or chemical environment (weighing/dispensing role a plus)
Experience with computer applications such as MS Office and familiar with various internet software programs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as collaborative teamwork skills needed.
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.

This is a temporary role with a possibility of converting to full-time. Hourly compensation range: $25/hr-$30/hr
