Job Summary:
The Quality Technician supports the Company’s Material Business at UDC’s Shannon, Ireland location. Key activities involve performing inspection of incoming and outgoing products and shipments to ensure conformance to customer requirements and supporting QA systems such as Training, Internal Audit, and CAPA.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform final inspection of outgoing shipments and incoming OLED materials, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, documentation standards, and internal specifications.
Manage receipt, verification, and release of critical raw materials, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues promptly.
Conduct preliminary investigations into quality issues for Emitter, Host, and other key materials, maintaining accurate documentation and escalating when needed.
Support Quality Management System activities, including CAPA, audits, training, and change management.
Review and analyze quality data from contract manufacturers to confirm conformance and identify trends or deviations requiring action.
Maintain accurate data entry for analytical and performance results, promptly escalating anomalies or emerging trends.
Coordinate calibration and compliance for Operations laboratory equipment such as weighing scales and exhaust hoods.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in a quality or scientific discipline; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial, scientific, or high‑tech manufacturing.
Experience with ISO 9001–aligned quality systems is desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement focus.
Effective team collaborator with the ability to work independently and with high accuracy.
Commitment to maintaining quality, efficiency, and productivity in daily work.
