Job Summary:
The Process Technician is a key member of the Device Fabrication Team, supporting daily joint evaluation activities. The role focuses on OLED fabrication, equipment maintenance, and close collaboration with the test team in a laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate vacuum evaporator strictly according to SOP.
Monitor process parameters in real time; maintain accurate production and equipment logs; report deviations promptly.
Conduct daily equipment checks and schedule preventive maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve routine equipment issues; escalate complex problems and assist with repairs.
Manage receipt, installation, documentation, and disposal of deposition source materials in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to interpret lab observations, recommend next steps, and contribute experimental ideas.
Recommend improvements to equipment and operational procedures.
Support special projects as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor (or higher) in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Microelectronics, Mechanical
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating or maintaining vacuum equipment in relevant industries (semiconductors, display panels, photovoltaics, optical coatings); cleanroom experience preferred. Candidates without direct experience must demonstrate a strong STEM foundation.
Familiarity with OLED thin-film deposition and evaporation principles is advantageous.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management and reporting.
Basic English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) required.
High sense of responsibility, mindfulness, logical thinking, and sensitivity to process data.
Strong teamwork, communication, hands-on, and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed.
